Inspired by Sonia, my mum’s, own design from the 90’s.
Ever the pioneer, my mum brought the Arts and Crafts movement of the late '80s and early '90s to Perth. She would organize huge events in halls where she would always have her own stall selling quilts, potpourri, woven baskets, and hand-painted everything. When she wasn't hosting, I would get dragged to markets to see local makers' works, all inspired by the Country Craft movement happening in the U.S.
Having worked in the fashion world since she was 15 years old, she naturally moved into apparel, painting her own classic wreaths on jewelry, hats, and T-shirts.
To honor Sonia's legacy, I've created this short run of Wreath T-shirts named after her. Each shirt comes with her signature pink ribbon, fastened onto a loop, easily interchangeable with the white ribbon provided.
